How does the personalized dog storybook work?

Upload one clear photo of your dog, tell us their name, and choose softcover or hardcover. We paint your dog into a 32-page watercolor storybook with 17 illustrations, you approve the cover before the rest is made, and then it's printed and shipped to your door.

Do I approve the book before it's printed?

Yes. You'll see your dog's personalized cover illustration before the remaining pages are painted and the book goes to print.

What kind of photo works best?

A well-lit photo with your dog's face clearly visible, taken from the front or a 3/4 angle, with only one dog in the shot. Photos where your dog isn't too close-up tend to work best.

What's the difference between softcover and hardcover?

Both are 8 x 8 inch, 32-page books with the same illustrations. The softcover is $29.95 and the hardcover is $44.95.

Can I send the book as a gift?

Yes. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and we'll ship the printed book straight to them. Adding a fancy full name for the title page is a favorite touch in gift copies.

Is my dog's photo kept private?

Yes. Your photo is used only to paint your book and is never shared or sold.
